This is a Louis-Phillipp mantle clock set in gilt and patinated bronze, finely chased, depicting a lady with child.

The silvered dial has Roman numerals and breguet hands. The clock has an eight-day movement with silk suspension striking on a bell. The side pieces are vases, also of finely detailed gilt and patinated bronze.
